01

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Drive Defensively in Texas LLC doing business as Drive Defensively Texas ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or enrolling in our course, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

02

Our service

We provide a Driving Safety Course approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), delivered online in English and Spanish, and issue a certificate of completion when you meet all course requirements. We may also offer related products, such as ordering a driving record.

We are a course provider. We are not a court, a law firm, or an insurance company, and nothing on our website is legal advice.

03

Your eligibility and account

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information, including the name, date of birth, and driver's license details that will appear on your certificate
  • You are responsible for confirming with your court or insurer that you are eligible to use the course for your purpose
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for all activity under your account
  • Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred
04

Course completion rules

  • Texas requires 6 hours of instruction. Course timers and minimum times cannot be skipped or shortened
  • You must personally complete all lessons, quizzes, and identity-verification questions
  • Having another person take the course for you, or providing false answers, may result in removal from the course without a refund and may be reported as required by law
  • We may require you to repeat material or answer verification questions before issuing a certificate
05

Certificates

A certificate of completion is issued only after you meet all course and verification requirements. It is delivered according to the delivery option you selected at enrollment.

You are responsible for submitting your certificate, and any driving record or other documents your court requires, to the correct court or insurer before the deadline. We are not responsible for documents that are late, incomplete, or sent to the wrong place.

06

No guarantee of dismissal or discount

Important: Completing our course does not guarantee that your ticket will be dismissed or that you will receive an insurance discount.

Ticket dismissal depends on your court granting your request, your eligibility under Texas law, and timely submission of all required documents. Insurance discounts are offered at each insurer's discretion.

07

Prices and payment

The course price is $25 unless stated otherwise at checkout. Prices for add-ons, such as driving records or expedited delivery, are shown before you pay. Court administrative fees are set by and paid to your court, not to us.

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

08

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, share, resell, or record course content
  • Attempt to bypass course timers, security, or identity verification
  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose or to harm others
  • Interfere with the operation of the website or course
09

Intellectual property

All course content, text, graphics, videos, logos, and software on our website are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the course for your own use.

10

Our website and course are provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep them accurate and available, we do not guarantee that the website will always be error-free or uninterrupted. General information on our website about courts, insurance, and driving records may change and should be confirmed with the relevant court, insurer, or agency.
