1. Agreeing to Our Rules
Welcome to Drive Defensively Texas! When you use our site or sign up for the Texas defensive driving course, you’re agreeing to these terms. Don’t like them? No problem – don’t use the site. This is built for Texas drivers in the U.S.
2. Who Can Take the Course
You need to:
- Be allowed by Texas law to take defensive driving
- Get court OK if it’s for a ticket
- Give us real, complete info when signing up
- Be 18+ (or have legal permission)
Your job: Double-check with your court before starting.
3. Course Approval & Your Certificate
Our course complies with all Texas state regulations. Finish everything – lessons, quizzes, final test – and we’ll send your official certificate right away.
We can’t help if:
- The court says no to your ticket dismissal
- You weren’t eligible
- You gave us the wrong info
4. Your Account
Create an account? You promise to:
- Keep your login private
- Use real information
- Tell us ASAP if someone else gets in
All activity on your account is your responsibility.
5. Payments
Pay upfront to start the course. We use safe outside companies to process payments – all in U.S. dollars. Card fails? No course access.
6. Refunds
Refunds aren’t automatic. We look at:
- How many courses have you done
- If certificates are already issued
- Texas rules
Email us to ask. If you’ve finished most of it, probably no refund.
7. Our Content
Everything on this site – words, pictures, course videos, logo – belongs to us. Protected by copyright law. Don’t copy, share, or sell it without asking first.
8. Don’t Do This
No sharing logins, cheating timers, fake names, bots, or breaking the site. Break rules? Account gone, no money back.
9. No Guarantees
Site and course given “as is.” Might have glitches. We can’t promise:
- The site always works perfectly
- Every court accepts your certificate
- Insurance gives you a discount
You use it at your own risk.
10. Our Responsibility
If something goes wrong, we’re not liable for indirect stuff like lost data or court problems. Worst case, you get back what you paid for the course. That’s it.
11. You Cover Us
Mess up and cause us legal trouble? You handle those costs.
12. Texas Law Rules
Texas laws apply. Any fights go to Texas courts.
13. Changes
We can update these terms anytime. Keep using the site? You’re good with changes.
